Rui Duarte, LEED AP received a bachelor degree in architecture from Roger Williams University in 1993.  During sixteen years his experience includes high tech office buildings throughout the Boston area and creative design solutions for residential clients in the northeast. His commitment to design innovation and technical knowledge is recognized for making architecture which exceeds expectations. He utilizes the latest in computer technology to address problem solving and provide a contribution to the design process. His design aesthetic is based on composing space and materials to achieve a resultant which is unique to every project. He is a LEED AP certified professional with experience demonstrating environmental efficiency and innovation in building design and is currently preparing for the Architectural Registration Exam.

In 2006, rui duarte | DESIGN was started to pursue a focus on residential design, as a simple design business aimed at providing excellence by fostering a knowledgeable decision making process based on interrelating the requirements of space, form and light with a sensibility towards the environment.
